MCYS/MCSS Web Template

Background

As a Region we take pride in our ability to work across program areas and organizational units to achieve the goals of MCYS and MCSS. As we look ahead to the next 3 - 4 years it is clear that we are ready to take the next steps which will increase our ability to think forward about our direct service delivery, our clients and the social services we support in Toronto.

Over the past year we have realigned programs between Pam Carlaw and David Mason's children's teams and refocused our ODSP customer service accountability. We now realize that we need to develop stronger "big picture" thinking across those children's teams and across the adults programs.

Separate full-day planning sessions are being held with the adults programs later this month and with the children's teams in early October. The meetings will provide a forum for setting high level goals and priorities and will start the cycle of quarterly meetings introduced in June. The sessions will be facilitated by Dr. David Sheridan, a seasoned planner and accomplished facilitator. David is interested in obtaining your ideas, themes and proposed priorities before finalizing the agendas for the sessions and has mounted the following on-line template. Even if you are not attending one of the sessions, it is important that you complete the template.
